Wholesale pricing

One price per pair at every tier. No bundles, no per-size minimum, no line items appearing later. All pricing is DDP United States — the figure in this table is the figure you pay.

Quantity Price per pair Order value Suggested retail Margin
250 – 499Minimum order $6.50 from $1,625 $28.00 4.3×
500 – 999 $5.50 from $2,750 $28.00 5.1×
1,000 – 2,999Most ordered $4.75 from $4,750 $28.00 5.9×
3,000 and above $4.00 from $12,000 $28.00 7.0×

What the margin looks like on your side

Gross margin per pair before your own selling costs. Most of our resellers list between $19.99 and our $28.00 MSRP — the product carries the higher end because wide-calf sizing and a true 15–25 mmHg graduated knit are thin on the ground in most catalogs.

Your cost At $19.99 At $24.99 At $28.00 Gross on 1,000 pairs @ $24.99
$6.50250 and above $13.49 $18.49 $21.50 $18,490
$5.50500 and above $14.49 $19.49 $22.50 $19,490
$4.751,000 and above $15.24 $20.24 $23.25 $20,240
$4.003,000 and above $15.99 $20.99 $24.00 $20,990

Gross margin before marketplace fees, your own shipping and returns. Private label and custom packaging quoted separately from 3,000 pairs.

Working backwards from your season

Compression demand peaks across retail, travel and uniform channels from October through January, and our knitting lines already run against that curve. The most common mistake in this category is ordering in October for a November sell-through. Here is the honest arithmetic.

Stock needed by Standard, free Priority Air Express Air
Early OctoberFall sell-in Order by mid-August Order by early September Order by late September
Early NovemberBlack Friday build-up Order by mid-September Order by early October Order by late October
Mid DecemberHoliday gifting Order by late October Order by mid-November Order by early December

Capacity note

We release a limited number of wholesale slots each month and fill them in the order deposits clear, not in the order enquiries arrive. Priority and Express orders are pulled to the front of the line; standard orders are produced from whatever capacity remains behind them.

There is a compounding effect worth understanding. Standard slots are the first to be squeezed as the season tightens, because paid orders keep taking priority on the line. The later you decide, the more likely the paid option is your only real one. Ordering early is not only about arrival dates — it is about still having the free option available to you.

03

Production and delivery

Every order runs through the same knitting, inspection and packing cycle. What differs is where it sits in the queue and how quickly it travels. Same socks, same quality control, three speeds.

Option Production Transit Total Cost
StandardStandard queue position 5–7 business days 25–30 days 30–45 days Free
Priority AirPriority queue position 5–7 business days 15–25 days 20–32 days +$1.60 / pair
Express AirFastestFront of the line · DHL or equivalent express carrier 2–3 days 3–7 days 5–10 days +$2.10 / pair

Why the free option takes 30–45 days

It is not a slower service — it is a later slot. Express and Priority orders are pulled to the front of the knitting and packing queue and dispatched first. Standard orders are produced from the capacity that remains and go out with our scheduled bulk consignments. The socks and the quality control are identical. If your season, launch date or client deadline cannot move, what you are buying with Express is the queue position, and that is exactly what it is priced as.

Size grid

Measured at the widest point of the calf. The XXL is the one worth noting — most compression catalogs stop at 22 inches, which leaves a real and underserved slice of the market with nothing that fits.

Size Calf US shoe, women US shoe, men Suggested share Per 1,000 pairs
S/M 12" – 15" 5 – 10 4 – 9 20% 200 pairs
L/XL 15" – 22" 10 – 13 9 – 12 50% 500 pairs
XXLWide calf 22" – 28" 13 and up 12 and up 30% 300 pairs

Suggested shares come from our own US sell-through data, not a guess. Send your own split if you know your customer better — there is no minimum per size.

Colorways

Black · White · Navy · Grey · Beige · Burgundy. Any combination across your order at no additional cost. Black and navy account for the majority of reorders in most retail channels.

See it before you commit

Nobody should place a four-figure order on the strength of a product photo. Three ways to put the sock in your hands first.

i

Sample pack — $29

One pair in each size, colors of your choosing, shipped express. The $29 is credited back in full against your first wholesale order, so if you proceed it costs you nothing.

ii

Buy a pair at retail

Order a single pair from our consumer store at the normal price and judge it exactly as your customer would — same product, same packaging, same fulfilment.

iii

Specification pack

Full material composition, care sheet, size chart and available test documentation, sent as PDF ahead of any commitment. Request it in the form below.

How an order runs

  1. Send your requestQuantity, size run, colorways and the date stock has to be in hand. We reply within one business day with a real answer on current capacity, not a brochure.
  2. Receive your quote and samplesA written quote fixing price, size split, delivery window and total landed cost. Sample pack shipped on request before you commit to anything.
  3. Pay a 50% depositYour production slot is reserved only when the deposit clears. Card at checkout or bank transfer against an invoice, whichever suits you.
  4. Production and quality controlKnitting, inspection and packing: 5–7 business days, or 2–3 on Express. Shipment tracking the moment the goods leave.
  5. Pay the balance and receiveThe remaining 50% falls due before departure. Customs clearance and duties handled on our side — delivered duty paid to your door.
08

Payment terms

Every wholesale order splits fifty-fifty — half to reserve the production slot, half before the shipment departs. The same for everyone, first order or fiftieth.

Card or Shop Pay

A secure invoice link for each installment. All major cards, Shop Pay and Apple Pay. Processing fees sit inside the listed prices — you pay the tier price, nothing added.

Bank transfer — 3% off

Three percent off the entire order when you settle by wire or ACH against a PDF invoice from ADSHIFT MEDIA LTD. On a 3,000-pair order that is $360 back to you. Recommended above $3,000.

Resale certificate

Buying for resale in the US? Send a valid state resale certificate with your first order and we register your account tax-exempt. Without one on file, applicable sales tax is added at checkout.

Net terms are not offered on first orders. After two completed orders we are open to discussing them. All prices in USD.

09

Documentation and compliance

Buyers in uniform, institutional and healthcare channels need paperwork, not just product. Here is exactly what we can put in your hands. We would rather be straight with you now than promise a document we cannot produce later.

Compression test report

Laboratory measurement of the graduated pressure profile across the size range.

On request

OEKO-TEX® Standard 100

Textile testing for harmful substances, issued at mill level.

On request

Material and care specification

Fiber composition, knit construction and care instructions for your listings and labels.

Included

Commercial invoice and HTS

Customs paperwork, country of origin and tariff classification for your records.

Every order

Tell us which documents your channel requires when you request a quote and we will confirm availability in writing before you commit to anything.

10

Terms worth knowing up front

Manufacturing defects

Replaced or credited in full. Report within 14 days of delivery with photographs and we resolve it on the next production run at our cost.

Returns

Wholesale orders are non-returnable outside of defects. This is precisely why we push the sample pack — check the product before the volume, not after.

Cancellation

Cancel free of charge any time before production starts. Once the line is running the deposit is non-refundable, since stock is knitted to your size split.

Quote validity

Written quotes hold for 14 days. Freight rates and capacity move, and we would rather requote than surprise you at invoice.

11

Questions buyers actually ask

Can I order fewer than 250 pairs?

No — 250 is a hard floor. Below it the freight and handling economics collapse and we would end up quoting you something close to retail anyway. To test first, take the $29 sample pack or buy a pair from our consumer store.

Can I mix sizes and colors in one order?

Freely, at no extra cost. There is no minimum per size or per color. The 250, 500, 1,000 and 3,000 thresholds apply to total pair count only.

Why is the free shipping option so slow?

Because it is a queue position rather than a service level. Express and Priority orders are pulled to the front of production and dispatched first; standard orders are made from the remaining capacity and go out with our scheduled bulk consignments. That gap widens as the season tightens. If your date matters, buy the slot.

Are duties and customs really included?

Yes. Every price quoted is DDP United States — we act as importer of record, handle clearance and pay the duty. No broker to appoint, no charge waiting on arrival.

Do you offer private label or custom packaging?

From 3,000 pairs. Custom hangtags, branded sleeves, printed polybags and your logo on the cuff are all possible. Add 10–14 days to the production window and ask for a private-label quote.

Can I get net-30 terms?

Not on a first order — every new account starts at 50% deposit and 50% before shipment. After two completed orders, come back to us and we will talk.

What is your reorder lead time?

The same as a first order, and slots work the same way. Established accounts placing recurring volume can be scheduled into the production calendar in advance, which is the reliable way to hold a date through peak season.

Can you ship outside the United States?

Yes, quoted on request. The pricing on this page is DDP United States; other destinations are quoted separately because duty structures differ materially.

Who am I actually buying from?

ADSHIFT MEDIA LTD, a company registered in England and Wales, trading as The Well Socks. We run our own direct-to-consumer store on this same product in the United States. The wholesale program is the same supply chain — not a drop-ship arrangement layered on top of somebody else's catalog.
